About that interview I had last week: I didn’t get the job. Am I bummed? Of course, and that’s perfectly normal. I’m also not too bummed because I had a feeling that I wouldn’t get it during the meeting. They were being really nice, but I could tell that we weren’t vibing, and you can’t force that kind of thing. Someday, I hope to find a job where I feel welcome, and where I can genuinely get along with people.

Congrats to everybody for surviving the water restrictions!!! And good job on saving water! Idk about y’all, but I had THE BEST shower EVER today.

Discovered a MINI DONUTS stand at a Canadian Tire parking lot! Normally, those things are like, a once-a-year type deal, and only in the summer. But daaang my sis and I sprinted over there to grab some and they were SO yummy! Cinnamon can be way too strong if you add too much, but if you combine it with sweet sugar, they balance each other out! And the donut texture is so SOFT AND FLUFFY, you have to close your eyes to feel the flavours and textures dancing on your taste buds! 😍

Went to Starbucks again… they always have new stuff and I can never help myself 😂 My goal WAS to try out their Iced Apple Crisp Oat Macchiato, BUT I saw the nondairy cream chai version, and changed my mind last-minute 😂 It was pretty good! The flavour was very strong at first, but then the sweetness calmed down after I let the ice melt and dilute it some more hehe

Got to try out a different coffee place last week. It’s called Evo! I had a raspberry mocha that I thought would taste more like raspberry than mocha 🥲 and a chocolate cannoli with limoncello filling! 😮 The cannoli was pretty good, but I’d split it with someone else because dude I could barely finish it 😂 I think my fav part was the filling though, because it kind of tasted like cream cheese with lemon flavouring! And I love cheese! 😋
