Kentucky Hot Brown - in a PIZZA OVEN?!

If you've never had a Kentucky Hot Brown, then you're missing out! This "sandwich" combines sliced turkey and a cheesy Mornay sauce, piled on top of toasted bread and topped with fresh sliced tomatoes and bacon... It may sound like an odd combination, but this Kentucky Hot Brown is fantastic!

To switch things up and add a bit of smoky flavor to our KY Hot Brown sandwich, we cooked it in the pizza oven on the Lone Star Grillz pellet grill, but you can definitely cook this in the oven instead. Though I definitely recommend cooking the hot brown in a cast iron skillet and adding butter and the leftover bacon grease under the bread while it's cooking.
