Watch as F/A-18 Super Hornets fly near the Father Crowley Rest Area in California.

As soon as we arrived at the rest area, we rested a bit and decided to drive down the dirt road to the further viewing point. As I put the truck in park and we walked around a bit, suddenly an F-16 based out of Spangdahlem AB flew from below the canyon, flew through the canyon and pulled up, wrapped around the rest area and dove back down the other side of the mountain pass. By far one of the most AMAZING things I've ever seen a Viper or any military jet do in all my spotting history! I was filming the Viper, but due to my stupidity, I never pressed record.

Then as I walked away to go to the truck, a Super Hornet came in from the north, dove into the canyon and flew in it all the way down to the valley floor. Had I not moved from my previous location, I would've had that shot.

This location is within the Panamint MOA in Death Valley Ca. VR1205 lays directly over the lake bed seen in the video. The Hornets came west from the OWENS MOA and north from the SALINE MOA. The SP F-16 that we saw early in the day took off from Nellis AFB and is participating in Green Flag.
