Once upon a time, in a bright green jungle, there lived a little elephant named Ellie. Ellie was kind, curious, and loved splashing in the river. But there was one problem…

Ellie had forgotten how to trumpet.

Every elephant in the jungle could make a loud PRRRR! sound with their trunk. But when Ellie tried, all that came out was a tiny:

“pff…”

“Oh no,” Ellie sighed. “What if I’m not a real elephant?”

Feeling sad, Ellie went to ask her friends for help.

First, she met Milo the Monkey.
“Swing your trunk like this!” Milo said, swinging from a vine.
Ellie swung her trunk… pff.
Still no trumpet.

Next, she met Tara the Tiger.
“Be brave and roar first!” Tara said.
Ellie roared softly… then tried again.
pff.

Finally, Ellie sat by the river and started to cry. Her tears made little ripples in the water.

Suddenly, a tiny bird named Pip landed on Ellie’s trunk.
“Why are you sad?” Pip chirped.

Ellie told Pip everything.

Pip smiled. “Maybe you’re trying too hard. Take a deep breath and think of something happy.”

Ellie closed her eyes. She thought about splashing in the river, playing with friends, and the warm jungle sun.

She took a deep breath…

The sound echoed through the jungle!

Ellie’s eyes went wide. “I did it!”

All the animals cheered. Ellie learned that everyone has their own time to shine—and that being yourself is more than enough.

And from that day on, Ellie trumpeted proudly… especially when she was happy 💛
