Hey everyone, and I’m back with more full rides. It’s MARIO DAY!!!! What a way to celebrate it with doing full rides and later playin Smash Bros and MK with friends following the full rides of the day. This was taken the day that GoldenGus went back to campus since this was the last weekday of the break. In addition, I attempted to do the reverse peak run on the (6) Line when I did my runs on the {6} Express Train back in January, but because I had no external hard drive to save the unedited clip, and the last 10 minutes of that run were cut off, I had to redo it on Spring Break. The (6) Line also has history written all over it. The section between Brooklyn Bridge and just south of Grand Central was part of the original IRT Line which had utilized the City Hall Loop station and it ran to 145 St on the IRT Broadway Line, utilizing the tracks that the 42 St (S) currently uses and utilizing the tracks that the 🔴7 Av Line🔴 uses between north of Times Sq-42 St and 96 St. The (6) Line is unique in that in The Bronx, it has peak direction express and local service during weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings. This run was taken in the morning, when northbound service runs in the reverse peak direction. After the run, I had lunch near Pelham Bay Park and then worked my way down to Brooklyn Bridge in the reverse peak direction. So yeah enjoy this run through Manhattan and The Bronx.
