Riven (Remake) (PC) - Part 1 - Well, this was Unexpected!! (Semi-Blind / No Commentary)

NOTE on First Episode:
Just a heads up that this episode does tread a lot of the same ground as the demo, the bigger changes from the demo come towards the end of this episode so feel free to skip there using the timestamp.

Normally I would not play modern games on here unless they were trying to feel and/or look like an old game, but... as I described in my Riven demo video, the original Riven is one of my all time favorite games so I'm making an exception. It's at least based on an old game!
Also I was not expecting this.. but there are some very, very interesting changes going on almost straight from the get go so it seems there are puzzle changes in place etc... for this reason I will tag this as a 'semi-blind' playthrough even though I have finished the original many times.
In terms of editing I try and edit out some of the loading screens/segments to make for a smoother playthrough, I also do edit out some of the excessive backtracking if no progress is made and I just end up back at the same place etc.

Note on the books etc. in the game (there are quite a few longer ones in Riven that give huge insight into the world and story). I do read them when I play the game as well as take notes, but I've tried to edit down the time spent on each page to a minimal amount in this video. If it's not enough time, please pause to read them, or if you want to skip them entirely I have included timestamps for going past them.
