According to a news report, Neelum Road is being built with a huge amount of about Rs 6.93 billion, a 14-kilometer-long, 150-foot-wide double road, which will connect Ferozepur Road with Pine Avenue in a short period of about 6 months. The construction of Neelum Road will benefit the local population as well as Khayaban-e-Amin, Lake City, Faziya Housing Scheme, as well as the housing societies located on Jaya Baga Road, including Liberty Lands, Park Avenue, Zaitoon Lifestyle, Civil City, and, in addition to them, Ittehad Town Phase 2, Olympic Cooperative Housing Society, and LDA City.
Now let's talk about the route of Neelum Road, so let's start from Ferozepur Road, where there is already an old small road here, the expansion of which is also part of the plan, and this road connecting Neelum Road is only about 85 meters long, and from here we will turn towards LDA City A Block, from where Neelum Road starts. Some areas between this road and Neelum Road are probably still under acquisition, and after this area, Neelum Road starts from LDA City A Block, and Neelum Road up to LDA City L Block is about 90% complete. This patch is about 3.75 km long. Some areas in this patch are not yet developed. And then through Jhidu village and Ittehad Town Phase II, it will reach Neelum Road along Civil City on Jayabga Road, and here its patch 1 will be completed.
Civil City is located on Jayabga Road, while there is a railway track right in front of Civil City, and on the other side is Khayaban-e-Amin. This area is called Rasool Pura, and an underpass from this place to Khayaban-e-Amin is also part of the Neelum Road project. An underpass will be built to connect Patch 1 of Neelum Road with Patch 2. And Neelum Road will connect to Midcity through Khayaban-e-Amin, and Midcity through Lake City, and then Neelum Road will connect to Pine Avenue through Lake City Main Boulevard. And then the approximately 14-kilometer-long road up to here will be completed in just 6 months.
