Führerstandsmitfahrt BR474 S-Bahn Hamburg S11 Altona - Poppenbüttel [03/2019]

Die S11 ist in Hamburg eine sogenannte Verstärkerlinie und fährt morgens und späten Nachmittag/Abend
zur HVZ (Hauptverkehrszeit).

Die Fahrt, führt von Altona, Sternschanze, Hauptbahnhof weiter über Hasselbrook, Barmbek und Ohlsdorf nach Poppenbüttel. Ab Hauptbahnhof ist der Streckenverlauf identisch zur S1. Lediglich von Altona nach Hauptbahnhof fährt die S11 über die Dammtorlinie während die S1 durch denn Citytunnel fährt.


The S11 is in Hamburg a so-called amplifier line and runs in the morning and late afternoon / evening
to the HVZ (rush hour).

The journey leads from Altona, Sternschanze, main station via Hasselbrook, Barmbek and Ohlsdorf to Poppenbüttel. From the central station, the route is identical to the S1. Only from Altona to the main station the S11 drives over the Dammtorlinie while the S1 drives through the Citytunnel.
