Moss stitch, also known as seed stitch, is a simple combination of knit and purl stitches which creates a lovely crossover, bumpy texture.

Moss stitch is often knit on an odd number of stitches, worked rows of K1P1, with the last stitch being K1.

If worked on an even number of stitches, you will knit a combination of two rows to achieve moss stitch:
ROW 1: K1P1
ROW 2: P1K1
