n this video, I walk you through how to set up CrewAI inside a Google Colab environment step by step. We start by installing CrewAI using the UV tool, creating a new CrewAI project, and running a simple Hello World example to make sure everything works correctly.

I show you how to configure CrewAI to work with Google’s Gemini model, including an important workaround where the default model selection is incorrect and must be fixed manually in the .env file. You’ll see how to update the Gemini model version to a currently active one and install the additional Google Gen AI dependencies required for CrewAI to run properly.

Once everything is set up, we run the default multi-agent workflow, which includes a research agent and an analyst agent, and walk through the execution flow and final output. This video is perfect if you’re new to CrewAI, agent-based AI systems, or want a simple starting point for building multi-agent workflows with Gemini.
