Despite a rainy weekend, Glostrup Street Games brought together skaters, families, and street culture lovers for a cozy and creative day at the park. Music played, sneakers splashed through puddles, and energy stayed high thanks to our community’s passion and resilience.

🕺 James Njombua & Urban Dancerz energized the park with urban dance and movement, bringing rhythm and spirit to the streets.
🎮 Kids gathered indoors to play on a PlayStation setup provided by Ishøj Ungdom, offering dry fun and digital joy.
🛹 Boards and skates were loaned out by Artables – a skatepark based near Høje Taastrup City Hall and City2 Mall, showing how local hubs can fuel each other.
🎨 A visiting street artist transformed the wall with a stunning piece — a fusion of nature and imagination. It resembles a dandelion or sunflower, with yellow petals flowing downward like a spaceship in motion. At the core? What looks like an underwater city built from glowing purple buildings. That's just one interpretation — art is subjective, and this piece invites everyone to see something unique.

🌍 Cooperation across Westside Copenhagen made this event possible — from Glostrup to Ishøj to Høje Taastrup. That spirit of unity is the true street game: when we lift each other up, everyone grows.
