Sitheswaran hills located in top of palamalai reserve forest situated at nerinjipettai village, erode district, Tamil nadu. Sitheswaran hills is 4600 feet height. Sitheswaran hills cover 30 kms in salem and erode district also connects western ghats and eastern ghsts. Totally 7 mountains are held and on top of 7th mountain lord shiva is workshipped as sitheshwarar. Intertesting fact is there are 400 families living here.

There are more than 3 ways to reach sitheshwarar temple but mostt preferred way is guruvareddiyur because you get off raod experience (book jeep or own bike) upto 5th hills. 6th and 7th hills should be walking espcially 7th hills is almost 70 degree slope.

In 7th hills you can see beautiful view of mettur dam, Kaveri river and westerns ghats.

Scenery you see in 7th hills is extra ordinary and no camera can capture the beauty of nature except your eyes.

Preferred months to visit Purattasi(september - october).
