Part 2 in the series I'm doing for fun on WWII plane wrecks in the Kwajalein Atoll lagoon. This episode features the upside down TBM 'Avenger', one of the PBJ-1H 'Mitchell' wrecks', and several of the SBD 'Dauntless' wrecks. All of these were intentionally dumped into the lagoon near or shortly after the end of World War II.

As a note: for planes like the PBJ's, I use the Navy/Marine Corps designation for them, rather than the more commonly known 'B-25' designation. The USN/USMC put these aircraft to use as well, so I use the designations as given to them by the US Navy Bureau of Aeronatics (BuAer) during World War II.
