4. This easy to find, inexpensive item is great for when you need to make perfectly straight edges

6. This item is great for making straight lines and is a cheap alternative to a palette knife
7. This is another palette knife alternative, and something you might already have in your kitchen
8. If you have a dog, you might have this tool alternative that works great for making tiny rings that are less than a centimeter in diameter.
