Andrea and Barry Coleman, Co-Founders of Riders for Health, received the 2013 CASE Award for Enterprising Social Innovation (ESI). Riders for Health is an international social enterprise that manages and maintains vehicles for health-focused partners in sub-Saharan Africa which enables health workers to deliver vital health care to rural communities on a reliable and cost-effective basis. The Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business launched the ESI Award to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations, or companies whose innovations blend methods from the worlds of business and philanthropy to create sustainable social value that has the potential for large-scale impact.
