On the fourth morning out in Chicagoland we hit up the Blue Island Diamonds, one of the most iconic hotspots in the area. Blue Island is home to CSX, but many other railroads have trackage rights through here such as the NS, UP, CN, IHB and IAIS. Fortunately we hit this spot at the right time, as we saw everything but the BNSF, who also have trackage rights through the area. We were able to get the Iowa Interstate interchange job for CSX, multiple IHB locals, NS, UP and CN run-through freights and more! Enjoy!
