These past ten days have been all about celebrating cinema at its finest, and at our Awards Night party last night, we announced the best of the best, with over $100,000 going to films that were selected by our esteemed juries of industry professionals. Congratulations to all the winners!

The winners of the Knight MARIMBAS award and Jordan Ressler First Feature award will receive special support from Slated through a script and financial analysis package.


Congratulations to John Leguizamo for receiving the second Miami Film Festival Impact Award!


Leguizamo Does America premiered the Miami episode at our festival yesterday with John Leguizamo in attendance! The show follows Leguizamo as he travels across the country to bring viewers inside America’s thriving Latino communities – all with his characteristic edge, energy and wit. 


The ultimate celebration of cinema and Miami came to life at Jungle Plaza in the heart of the Miami Design District for our closing night bash!
