The Western Cape government says the launch of the UCT community of hope vaccination site will boost its mass vaccination drive. The provincial government and the University of Cape Town partnered to officially launch a vaccine centre at the University's Forest Hill residence.
The stakeholders say the site will play an instrumental role in serving the community, vaccinating students and those in the 18-34-year-old age group. The province says it's slowly starting to decline on the slope of the peak with over 3400 people hospitalised.
