The most comfortable wireless earbuds of 2023? Absolutely.

The Huawei FreeClip are open-fit wireless earbuds with a difference – they don't sit in your ear, they don't offer any noise cancelling, and they embrace ambient sound with a mixed-reality listening experience.

But who are these for?

Looking like a pair of ear hoops and costing £179.99 / $225, the FreeClip aren't cheap and won't replace your ANC buds or over-ear headphones, but are they a great second pair of buds. Great for safety when you want to be aware of your environment, an office when you want to be able to hear colleagues, or your home when you need to hear someone at the door or listen out for a child.
