The Family Treatment Court program, tentatively scheduled to begin on February 5 (updated date from the last advisory), is designed to improve outcomes for families by providing coordinated, treatment-focused services, judicial oversight, accountability, and access to treatment for parents with substance use disorders whose children have been removed due to safety concerns. The kick-off event will bring together representatives across the justice, health, and human services fields to build a shared understanding of the program’s goals and structure.

A highlight of the event will include a panel discussion featuring Judge Babler and the Barron County Family Recovery Court Team, who will share insights from their successful model and its impact on families in their community.
