This is a ride on the Schleswig-Holstein from Rødby (Denmark) to Puttgarden (Germany). Filmed in the afternoon on August 22nd, 2019. We start our journey onboard a Danish State Railways IC3 DMU at Rødbyhavn station, the train having originated in Nykøbing Falster. The ferry crossing takes 50 minutes. On board are many amenities, shops, and a buffet. This is one of the only ferry crossings in the world where a train boards a ferry with passengers on board, though this is to be discontinued in the future by construction of a fixed-link. At Puttgarden, we reboard the train and finish the video at the station.
