A Day in the Life Of A NightShift Nurse

Описание к видео A Day in the Life Of A NightShift Nurse

The MOST COMMON question I get asked is... HOW DO YOU SURVIVE NIGHT SHIFT?! Well there are so many things I do to help me get through the nightshift... in this video I go over what working a night shift, schedule wise, typically looks like for me!

THE SCRUBS I am wearing in this are from Cherokee Uniforms the iflex collection! The under scrub is infinity collection (LOVE IT) and the slides are from the infinity collection as well! Jacket is ALSO Infinity!

Here are links to a few of the things that I use to help me with SLEEP on the night shift!

RemFresh 2mg tablets are my FAV to use between shifts when I need good sleep, it is a long acting melatonin. I find that for me personally, 5 mg is a little too much if I am trying to sleep at max 7 hours. If you have never taken melatonin before I suggest cutting the 2mg in half for your first try!

Next are my blackout curtains, the ones I got are from Ikea and are VERY heavy and thick! I love them because they make me feel like I am in a hotel and NO LIGHT is coming in to wake me.

Here is a link to a cuter set of black out curtains that my BFF uses and loves! They have star cut outs in them and surprisingly it does not let in much light but they add an awesome ambiance to the room!

Last, but not least, is a fan! I use just a regular old fan. There are "sound canceling" machines and fans out there... but to me its all the same! Honestly, any loud floor fan will work! Remember to not face to ON YOU while you sleep! It literally is just for the noise canceling!
