About me
Born and raised in Upstate New York, in the city of Rochester, known for Kodak, Wegmans, Garbage Plates, and the annual “Lilac Festival”— then I met my beautiful French wife and moved to the South of France in autumn of 2011. Since then, we’ve lived in several places in France and most recently settled down in Carcassonne and now work as estate agents together as a husband and wife team. There are many different pastimes that I am passionate about, especially hiking in the Pyrenees, with my wife and our two dogs, reading, and photography. We’ve been fortunate enough to have found the house of our dreams here in France, where we can enjoy our new passion for Mediterranean gardening. Starting from a blank canvas, our garden now has over 350 plants and more than 125 species. Because I love nature, photography is especially interesting with the beauty and diversity of the landscapes here in this region. Leggett Immobilier also gives me a chance to practice my passion for photography with the houses we list. I’m also lucky to share a passion for languages with my wife, who is a polyglot. I began learning French at the age of 13, which eventually brought me to France, and now started learning Italian from my wife who is fluent and hope to visit Italy in the near future where I’ve discovered many living relatives.
