Tinalbarka is among more than 130,000 people who have fled Mali since violence erupted in 2012. Her family fled Bamako following ethnic clashes and they found refuge in Mberra camp in Mauritania in 2013. Despite peace agreements being signed in 2015, the situation in Northern-Mali remains volatile and no significant returns are envisaged in 2016-2017.
