Now, the Argentina team’s management has officially resolved the confusion by confirming the match will take place in November.
According to the schedule, Argentina will play friendly matches between October 6 and 14 in the US.
Then the team played matches on November 18 in Kerala (India).
However, the team that will play against Argentina in Kerala has not yet been confirmed.
After the match, Messi is also expected to travel across India for four days in December, visiting cities including Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Delhi.
Reports suggest he may meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during his visit.
Fans are now eagerly waiting to know which team will face Argentina in the Kerala match.
The organizer, Reporter Broadcasting Company, has said that talks are ongoing with teams like Australia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Brazil.
A final decision is expected within a week.
The match will be held in Thiruvananthapuram.
The estimated cost of organizing the match is around ₹400 crore.
The organizers have received strong sponsor support, which helps cover the expenses.
