Today on Ragnarok I tried and failed to tame a Skeletal Stegosaurus. But, I did manage to tame a Shiny Eurypterid and some of its friends. I must admit, their slow speed makes their usefulness out of water dubious at best.

In the water, though, I imagine there's a lot of things I'll be able to do with them. They do have a decent enough weight capacity that I might be able to skate by without building a raft, which would be ideal.

Eurypterids are a standard knockout tame thanks to the No Untameables mod. When tamed, they will produce black and silica pearls in their inventory, making them great for passive production. They also have a very low damage, but high torpor pincer attack. This means that they can be used as a close-range taming assistant, but as I said, they're very slow out of water.

In water, they're extremely fast, easily outpacing the manta, megalodon, and Ichthyosaurus.
