夜霧に消えたあなた （島和彦カバー) by Mikihisa Hirai

島和彦「夜霧に消えたあなた」(昭和42年）のカバーです。
サパークラブ島のピアニスト加藤ちひろさんのピアノ伴奏で歌ってみました。
「愛しているから別れる」と言って夜霧に消えていってしまった男。その「恋」がもともと気ままな出来心でありいつかは終わりがきて自分は泣いてしまうのだろうとははじめからわかっていた。でも別れてしまった今でも帰ってきてほしいと「あなた、あなた、あなた」と心のなかで呼びかける女心の歌です。この動画の女性がそのようにつぶやいているように見えるのは制作者の思い入れでしょうか？あまり広くは知られていないようですが島和彦さんの昭和ムード歌謡の傑作のひとつだと思います。

This is a cover of "You disappeared misty night" (My English translation of the original Japanese title) by Kazuhiko Shima released in 1962. I, Mikihisa Hirai, sang this song with the piano played by Chihiro Kato, a pianist at Supper Club "Shima," in Akasaka, Tokyo.

A man left a woman on a misty night by saying, "I shall leave you because I love you." But the woman knew that his "love" for her apparently came from his impulse emotion at one time and it would end eventually. Now, he is gone. Knowing all those she cannot resist her temptation to whisper to him "My sweetheart, my sweetheart and sweetheart!" Although not necessarily widely known, I believe this is definitely one of the greatest love songs from the Showa Era.
