Bitcoin and Ethereum both made marginal gains - Bitcoin climbed slightly, rising a little over 1% to around $43,800, maintaining its price above the key support level of $40,000. Ethereum was up by 1.5% to around 2,900 as it pushes towards $3,000. Cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Coinbase and Binance, have thus far resisted calls to freeze accounts with Russian addresses, but that could change should the situation in Eastern Europe worsen.

Digital asset investment company KR1 is looking to invest in specialized funds as a way to join in on exciting and upcoming projects early. The group recently invested US$5mln into Starry Night Capital - an investment fund focusing on high-profile NFTs.
