Passau is a city in Lower Bavaria, Germany.

The parish church of St. Matthäus is the first evangelical church in Passau.

It was designed by Friedrich Bürklein and inaugurated in 1859.

Passau also known as a City of Three Rivers as the river Danube is joined by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north.

Ludwigsplatz is one of the main traffic squares in Passau

The parish church of St. Paul is the oldest parish church in Passau .

Many river cruises down the Danube start at Passau and there is a cycling path all the way down to Vienna. 

Passau is notable for its gothic and baroque architecture. 

On 2 June 2013, the old town suffered from severe flooding as a result of several days of rain and its location at the confluence of three rivers.

This is the best place for evening hang out.
