So you'll notice that these sets of levels basically act as sequels to previous levels. This level is where the Airship ended up crashing at, and is also the one you want to revisit if you missed anything on the Airship. The level itself is home to these crystals that are invisible unless these firefly enemies are on the screen. Luckily, there's basically an infinite supply of them as long as you attack the generator. Once we reached the crashed Airship, we find some Resistance soldiers that are being mind-controlled who will attack you on sight. Attacking them with the buster will stun them and allow you to pass. Attacking with anything else will kill them, which while netting you a guaranteed 1up, will also subtract from your mission score. At the end, we find Elpizo, who seems to have found what he was looking for and leaves before we can reach him. And then Harpuia appears to fight us, as the Guardians have decided to forsake duty and just really really want to fight us.
To earn the Defense Form you need to defeat 20 enemies with the charged Shield Boomerang, and with the infinite supply of fireflies in this level, there's more than enough to fill that quota easily. This is also the last form we can earn conventionally, as the other forms are the Proto Form, earned from beating the game, and the Ultimate Form, earned from getting every Cyber Elf and using them. That last part also requires feeding all the Cyber Elves as well.
