Many people have hired our law firm to help them win their case when they’re accused of attempted murder. We have provided our clients many defenses that are winnable defenses. One, is we argue that the person didn’t attempt to kill the person. Two, we argue that he took low steps toward trying to kill the person.

A major defense in most of our cases is that he acted in self-defense. But what people have to understand is you must act reasonably if you are going to win with a self-defense argument.

For example, if a person comes and punches you on the arm. It’s not going to be a winnable defense that you choose to use a knife and stabbed him because that’s excessive force. But if a person come at you with a hammer trying to kill you then of course it would be a reasonable defense to say that you shot him.

It depends on the reasonless of your action and we’ve been very successful in raising that defense in many of our cases.
