Didn't think it'd get this far but here we are almost at 1k with a lot of room for improvement with gear. Bosses still melt at this corruption and multiple gaze orobyss fights are easy to secure with kite spamming traps anywhere, dodging most nasties.

Gonna suss out whether the low life build is possible if we manage to hit 1k with the life build. The issue will probs come down to ward sustain vs bosses. Chains of Uleros would give 550 ward on pot use. Not sure if that works with Elecoe's to give double. Frostbite Shackles freezes would keep you topped up in echoes. Ward on dodge. Cleaver Solution str to int conversion + Frostbite Shackles x mass cold res can give you 1k+ ward retention.

How the build does damage: spam Explosive Trap detonations to fling multiple Acid Flasks that stack frostbite DoTs.

How to sustain mana: T7 throwing cost red rings x2, using a pot with 'mana gained on potion use' experimental affix on belt, Sapping Strikes x direct Flask cast (x2 value with Elecoe), 6/6 Rover Stamina mana regen/mana on dodge, Hunter's Spoils.

How to get more DPS:
Change vit idols to poison on hit. x4 20% 3x1 & x2 11% 2x1 idols can get you +102% poison on hit chance with Throne of Ambition. These cost nothing.
Change Shurikens to Net - 30% damage vs slowed enemies / 20% as (Leading The Hunt + Quick Throws) buff for 6s. Lose armor, better in a low life build where you'd have 3k+ base.

It shows all exalted gear but color codes them based on number of wanted affixes:
white = 1+ (starter only)
blue = 2+
yellow = 3+
pink = 4+

Reckon it'd have 8k+ stable ward (no last steps) but it requires a LOT of investment. 240+ total attributes would get you 6 mana back off Hunters Spoils (an extra 5 to present) every time the bird hits a boss/rare enemy. Shift- Swift Recovery would give back 48 mana every use under 50% hp, consuming 13 = 3 trap casts worth.

Notes:
Frostbite = A DoT that deals cold dam and increases chance to be Frozen by 20%. It has 36 base dam and lasts 3s. It can stack with no limit but only the first 30 stacks increase chance to be Frozen. Frostbite has a fixed base damage, but is affected by damage modifiers from the skill tree and attribute scaling of the skill that applies it. We've got 260% Frostbite chance (applies multiple stacks) off of the core 3 uniques: Frostbite Shackles/Snowdrift/Volatile Ice. It’s got double cold pen. Every 10% freeze rate multiplier you’ve got converts to 2% cold pen via Snowdrift. Every 5% uncapped cold res converts to 3% cold pen via the Knowledge of Immunity Acid Flask node. No pen cap. Penetration bypasses a given amount of % res of the enemy. This even can go into the negative, so even on enemies with 0 res (which most enemies have) it will increase your dmg. Shred = -5% (or -2% vs bosses) res to enemies, stacks up to x times.
Only need 1 point in Minefield as each detonation procs the Flask flings so multiple traps make no diff. No need to aim.
Base dam of frostbite scales harder with freeze rate multi than % cold damage.
Elecoe's gives double mana back from Sapping Strikes and experimental mana belt affix off of direct Flask casts. The bird does the same every 6s or 75% chance to refill on direct Flask cast. Pots won't be an issue with leech.
Ash compartment is our only source of cold shred.
Contamination, Hydrochloric Acid & Lasting Sickness aren't working with cold, either bugged or the trade-off for double cold pen.
Main defense = capped dodge/glancing blows while spamming traps (Explosive Trap - Smoke Traps node buffs the fuck out of these), 90% GB base, over 2k stacked armor from Throne of Ambition/Stymphalian Feathers/Shurikens, double leech from Bleeding Heart + throwing attack leech blessing, 9% block, ward when enemies freeze off Frostbite Shackles and -32% damage taken while moving.
Went Frozen Ire over a dagger as FI caps necrotic res so you can get cold res elsewhere, gives 658% freeze rate multiplier where daggers can't get that, there are no good cold dagger uniques to slam, frees up the poison nodes you'd take for defensive nodes like Shroud of Dusk and the 120% cold damage/Tundra Nova on hit for ward generation are nice freebies.
