Most people say “carbon kevlar” — but that’s actually wrong.

Carbon fiber and Kevlar are two completely different materials, with different chemistry, colors, and functions.

Carbon fiber is made from carbon.
It’s black, ultra-light, extremely stiff, and built for speed.
That’s why it dominates motorsport and supercars.
But when hit hard, it can shatter into pieces.

Kevlar (aramid fiber) is synthetic polymer-based.
Naturally golden-yellow, more flexible, tougher on impact, and resistant to heat.
Instead of breaking, it usually cracks but stays intact — perfect for protection.

So no, they are not the same material.
And unless a part truly mixes both, the term carbon kevlar is misleading.
