In the video, I talked about a bunch of things—like how much I’ve spent so far on my Vietnam trip budget, what the roads are like here, the weather situation, and the kind of issues you’d face riding a bike at night if yours has a weak headlight like mine.

Vietnam is incredibly beautiful, but my experience didn’t match what I’d read online about it being a budget-friendly destination. If I compare my Vietnam trip to any trip within India or even my India-to-Nepal trip, Vietnam turned out to be the most expensive. The food here is very pricey too, and Indian food is even costlier. If you’re vegetarian, finding hotels with proper vegetarian options here feels nearly impossible.
