Device Profiles - Device Profiles help manage new Applications. It defines the device capabilities and boot parameters that are needed by ChirpStack for setting the LoRaWAN® radio access service. These information elements shall be provided by the end-device manufacturer.

Variables are: Region, MAC version, ADR Algo, expected uplink interval, Device-status request frequency, class A/B/C, codec

Naming Considerations & Conventions in Chirpstack
Naming convention I’m using:
Manufacture - Device Name - Region Freq - Uplink Interval

Example:
MakerFabs already in
MF Soil Moisture US915 - 1 hour (soil moisture testbed)
MF Soil Moisture US915 - 4 hour (soil moisture on commercial deployment)

Browan Tab US915 - 5 min (might use this for an indoor air quality sensor)Browan Tab EU868 - 24 hour (for a motion detector that only fires on picking up motion or daily check in)

Senzemo - SMC30 Senstick - US915 - 1 hour
