Threaded Flange

Описание к видео Threaded Flange

Threaded Flange
The Threaded Flange nominal pipe size is 2-1/2” with a total diameter of 7”. It has a pressure class rating of 150 and has 4 bolt holes. It is made of AMSE B 16.5 (steel) and comes in a thickness of 1.1225”.
Function
The threaded flange is very similar in function to the slip-on flange however it allows for a pipe to be screwed in without the need for welding and therefore has a bore that is larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. The threaded flange is used in low pressure systems that are run in normal temperatures.
Applications
Threaded Flanges are used in pipeline applications where liquid or gas is transported from one location to another. The pipe used with threaded must be of a certain thickness to be used with a threaded flange. Best used in applications where welding is dangerous.
