It's tragic to know that the irresponsibility of humans has left this little family in the unfortunate situation they are in. After neglecting to spay this baby and allowing her to get impregnated by her son, her owners dumped her at the shelter with a risky, inbred pregnancy that could have serious, life-long consequences.

After a lot of patience and anticipation, this sweet mama gave birth to five kittens in total. While our hopes were high that they would all be born without any issues, two of the babies have deformities including a cleft palate (now getting tube fed from the foster) and clubbed feet. These sweet newborns now have an uphill battle to overcome the odds, but we are determined to get them there.
