For Tiger Giving Day 2021, the Gogue Performing Arts Center hopes to raise $11,299 to purchase a full set of Rhapsody VibraChimes. These eight, large chimes, each with its own mallet, will allow visitors to play eight separate notes that when combined create a major diatonic scale.

The chimes will complement Auburn University’s Musical Road as well as the Samford Hall bell. The installation will be located outside the Gogue Center where you will be able to create an original masterpiece or show some university spirit with your very own rendition of Auburn University’s fight song, “War Eagle!"

These chimes will benefit the community and serve as an important resource for educational programs at the Gogue Center. They will be incorporated into curriculum guides that are shared with educators across the state and will welcome schoolchildren on future field trips to the Gogue Center.

Once installed, these chimes will serve as an extension of our mission to engage audiences across the university, the state of Alabama, and beyond with curated arts experiences that inspire, enlighten and unite.
