“On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh ji, I pay my humble respects to him. His unwavering commitment to nation-building, his bold decisions for the poor and deprived, and his historic contribution to building a strong economy will continue to guide us. His simplicity, humility, and integrity are an inspiration for all of us.” 
• Along with Rahul Gandhi, other senior Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge also paid homage, remembering Singh as a “man of humility and wisdom” and acknowledging his contributions to economic reforms and welfare. 
• The Congress party also inaugurated the Dr Manmohan Singh Research Centre and Library at Indira Bhawan in New Delhi as part of the tribute. Rahul Gandhi participated in this event.
