With Sheer Blessings, Grace and Doer-ship of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, 'Sahajanand Gaave' experiences immense joy and gratitude in releasing a beautiful Sadguru Vaishnavanand Swami bandish in Raag Bihag, 'Shri Ghanshyam Ratat Mera Jiyra…’ on this auspicious occasion of Dev Shayani Ekadashi marking the onset of Pavitra Chaturmas. Bhagwan Swaminarayan left his home as a child yogi Nilkanth on Ashadh Sud 10, a day before Ashadhi Ekadashi and hence, this day has a great significance within Swaminarayan Sampraday. This kirtan written by Sadguru Vaishnavanand Swami also depicts that divine Gruh-tyag leela of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

Bhagwan Swaminarayan known as Ghanshyam in his childhood left his home at the age of 11 embarking on a 7-year long journey, bare-feet and alone across India for the liberation of countless souls. Ghanshyam’s sister-in law, Suvasiniji raised Ghanshyam as her own child after the passing of Ghanshyam’s parents. She immensely loved Ghanshyam and had developed ardent devotion towards Ghanshyam after witnessing his divine actions. The news of Ghanshyam’s renunciation and departure from Ayodhya deeply shocked and saddened her. She was mournful and disheartened for months after Ghanshyam left home. She would sit for hours outside the house waiting and crying for Ghanshyam hoping that he will come back to her eventually. The pain of separation and longing experienced by Suvasiniji upon Ghanshyam’s departure is indescribable in words however, Sadguru Vaishnavanand Swami beautifully elucidates this incident in this kirtan portraying the exact mood and emotions experienced by Suvasiniji through lyrical composition.

Smt. Apoorva Gokhaleji amazingly composed this bandish in Raag Bihag as mentioned by Sadguru Vaishnavanand Swami and Jaydeep Vaidyaji gave equal justice in singing and rendering this magnificent composition.

We pray that may we all also attain such deep attachement towards God upon listening to the lyrics of this bandish written by Sadguru Vaishnavanand Swami.

We sincerely hope that this Raag Bihag bandish by S. Vaishnavanand Swami will certainly enhance the glory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, His paramhansas, S. Vaishnavanand Swami and their magnificent work in the hearts of the viewers.

We are truly grateful and obliged to Bhagwan Swaminarayan for blessing this project and enabling the team to present the transcending work of His Paramhansas through the global social platform of YouTube. We humbly pray for the prayers and blessings of all fellow viewers to continue presenting such wonderful work of Swaminarayan Saints through this channel.
