LIVE: President Murmu addresses the Parliament ahead of the Budget Session

President of India, Droupadi Murmu addressed the Parliament of India ahead of the Interim Budget Session, 2024. The President mentioned that the new Parliament is a magnificent building constructed at the beginning of “Azadi ka Amrit Kaal”. She also added that for centuries there was an aspiration to construct the Ram Mandir and today it is a reality. The President affirmed that our government is moving ahead with the guarantee of fulfilling the dreams of 140 crore countrymen and that she has full faith that this new Parliament House will continue to give strength to India’s aspirational journey and create new and healthy traditions.
