Sony’s PlayStation 5 Slim is here, marking a refined update to the PS5 at the console’s midlife. With over 60 million units sold, the PS5 continues to dominate the gaming world, and the PS5 Slim is poised to solidify that lead. This redesigned version retains the same powerful internals but comes with some much-needed improvements, especially for gamers entering the PlayStation ecosystem.

The PS5 Slim is 30% smaller in volume than the original, a welcome change for those who struggled to fit the massive launch console into their entertainment centers. However, Sony still lags behind Xbox Game Pass, as first-party titles often take years to arrive on PS Plus.
