I paid around $21 usd a night for this place im the San Telmo area of Buenos Aires Argentina.
Airbnbs are usually in the $25-$30 nightly range but if booking for a month or more you can get $20 nighly or a bit lower.

I only stayed a week but I negotiated the price with the owner. Her name was PATRICIA and she seemed to have many rental units in this building. She placed me in a room with MO WIFI. That was not part of the agreement, the airbnb listing clearly stated that Wifi was included.
In the end I got a partial refund from Airbnb, but not without a fight. I had to send them many messages and video proof.
The host in retaliation left me a bad review x which is unfair. It's ok, my profile still has tons of happy hosts leaving me positive reviews.
Anywhere in the world, some hosts can be hard to deal with. I usually never complain or bother them for anything.
But how was I going to upload any videos without wifi.
