Assam: CLP leader Debabrata Saikia slams Ripun Bora over his resignation from Congress

#Assam | Looks the Congress is facing a hard time coming to terms to the resignation of former party president and ex-Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora.

CLP leader Debabrata Saikia has come down heavily on Bora and said that instead of helping the party which is in a critical juncture, the former APCC chief has shown his quote-unquote selfish nature for his personal interests.

Saikia added that it was the #Congress that helped Bora shape Bora's political career and it was only unfair on his part to leave the party, particularly at a time when it needs veteran leaders to stay united.
