Following are precautions to prevent conjunctivitis and its spread:-
1. Discontinuing contact lenses immediately
2. Avoid touching your eyes with your hands.
Wash your hands often.
3. Use a clean towel and washcloth daily.
4. Don’t share towels or washcloths.
5. Avoid swimming if you have conjunctivitis.
