Assam awards 2022: 15 receive Assam Gaurav, 5 receive Assam Saurav

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the names of recipients of the prestigious state awards, namely the Assam Baibhav, Assam Saurav and Assam Gaurav. The names were announced today at a special press meet chaired by the Chief Minister. The highest civilian award, the Assam Baibhav, has been conferred to Dr Tapan Saikia.
