This car is a Volvo C303, C304 Laplander developed in the late 60s based on the successful L3314 series and produced in 1974. This version was produced both as 4x4 and 6x6. The engine is a B30 (B20 in prototype) from a Volvo civilian car. The C3 Series features a portal axle with a locking difference that results in very high ground-clearance (similar to Unimog) and outstanding 4x4 and 6x6 offroad performance. The cars are narrow making it possible to navigate between the trees and on the narrow forest roads
