This video shows the top 20 countries based on nominal GDP and the top 20 countries based on PPP GDP. PPP (Purchasing-Power Parity) GDP is not simply converted into dollars and compared with the GDP calculated in each country's currency units, but reflects the level of prices of each country. Unlike GDP in which income is simply expressed in dollars, the purchasing power index is a "Big Mac" that calculates the exchange rate based on the cost of buying a McDonald's hamburger locally. It is the same concept as an index, which means relative actual purchasing power.
