Eid Milad Un Nabi is a festival of Muslims celebrated to pay tribute to the birth of Prophet Muhammad. The day is celebrated during the third month of the Islamic calendar. The day is also called Mawlid or Mawlid-al-Nabi al-Sharif. Prophet Muhammad was born on the 12th day of rabi ul Awal in Makkah in 570 CE

Karachi people celebrate this occasion with passion, they decorate their houses, streets and mosque to show their love for their Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
