Why planets move faster when closer to sun? explained in HINDI

Описание к видео Why planets move faster when closer to sun? explained in HINDI

In this Science (Physics) video in Hindi for Class 9 we explained why planets move faster when closer to sun. This is a topic from Chapter 10 - 'Gravitation' for class 9th.

Planets move in elliptical path around the sun. As the path is elliptical, there is a point where the planet is farthest from the sun which is called 'aphelion'. And there is a point where the planet is closest to the sun which is called 'perihelion'. According to Kepler's second law of planetary motion the line joining the planet and the Sun sweep equal areas in equal intervals of time. It concludes, when the planet crosses the aphelion, it moves slowest and when crosses the perihelion, it moves fastest.

The reason behind this, is the difference in potential energy, which has been explained in this video.
